S1/S2 Team

Rugby is everyone’s game, and there is a game for everyone.

Perhaps your child is an international star of the future, like Scotland’s Stuart Hogg or former Lochaber Mini Rugby & Scotland Women’s players – Helen Nelson & Katie Dougan?

Anybody that is new to the area or wishes to take part in rugby for the first time is invited to come along and join us at Banavie. Please feel free to turn up and watch what happens or speak to any of the coaches about joining in.

Saturday Training
The training sessions start at 10am on a Saturday for boys and girls from P3 – S2; training lasts for one and a half hours.

Tuesday & Thursday Training
Training for S1 upwards is on a Tuesday & Thursday evening 7pm.

All training sessions are supervised by a squad of suitably qualified coaches. On Saturday mornings parents are welcome to stay in the comfort of our Clubhouse where they can relax with a cup of tea or coffee and have a chat with the other parents.

All coaches are volunteers and are SRU trained to Foundation Level or Adult Level 1 or 2. In addition all Youth Coaches have been screened by Disclosure Scotland and we have adopted the SRU Youth Coaching Guidelines. We attained our Positive Coaching Accreditation in 2012
