This membership policy sets out categories of membership adopted under clause 3.A,3B & 3C, of the Club Constitution approved at the Club AGM on and details membership subscriptions payable.

RATIONAL
At this year’s AGM, it was decided that there would be no increase in the cost of membership or any changes to the categories. We carry out a membership fees review every three years – the next is due in May 2027

POLICY
1. The membership year will run from 1st September until 31st August.

a) Annual Membership renewal payments are due on the 1st September. After you initially join the club, an email is sent to members to remind them that their renewal is due. We also put posts on our website and social media pages and groups. Reminder emails will be sent to those who have not paid on the 1st September, and please note that the 30th November is the final cut-off date for membership renewal. If you have not paid by this date, you shall cease to become a member.

b) It is a requirement that All players, Snr and Youth are a member of our club

c) Our preference is for membership fees to be paid electronically via our website. We have got instalment options to help those managing a tight budget. Anyone who is not signed up as a member on our website will have to apply to become a member and create a profile. Alternatively, you can pay via online banking, our bank details are provided below. This information will be kept for the purposes outlined in our Privacy Policy and for the purposes of maintaining our Register of Members. https://www.lochaberrfc.co.uk/payments Payment is due on 1st September 2026

d) We have a set of governing documents. The contents of this are available on the club website. By purchasing a membership from Lochaber Rugby Club, you agree to adhere to these documents and the Membership Policy

e) Expenses – we will only consider reimbursement of expenses to current members; we will not pay to anyone who isn’t a member. Receipts must be kept and presented to the Treasurer for his and the Committee’s consideration and approval

NEW Snr. Playing Members - If you arrive at the club after 31st January and wish to play rugby, then the price you pay will be half of the original membership cost, plus the joining fee of £20. Playing Students do not qualify as they already receive a 50% discount.

NON- PLAYING MEMBERSHIP
• Social Member (Voting)-£60 – 50% discount for over 65’s

All senior members qualify for the local discount card.
