The theme of this years cabaret was 'Horror' we felt this appropriate to the kind of year we have had on and off the pitch.

I have put some pictures of the Thriller & Ghost Buster sets, but if anyone has Rocky Horror photographs can you e-mail them to me and I will upload them onto the site.

I have also put some additional Halloween photographs on to.

New Posts are Up
18 January 2010

The new posts are now erected at the Black Parks and a request for the temporary pitch to be lined is being requested today (Monday) All being well we will be playing at home this Saturday.

All players should make every effort possible to attend both training sessions this week and the forthcoming to weeks, if we are to improve and succeed.

Success is not going to be handed to us on a plate - we need to work very hard for it, everyone needs to more effort

Temporary Pitch @ The Black Parks
17 December 2009

Due to significant drainage problems at Banavie we have not played any home fixtures since August and as TEC Services have not carried out any work to try and improve the pitch it is unlikely that we will be playing there in the near future - unless we get a very dry spell!

However, Emma Thomson from The Highland Council Education Culture & Sports (ECS) has checked with other pitch users and granted us permission to temporarily use the Black Parks so that we can fulfill our home fixtures.

We applied for funding from the SRU for the purchase & erection of new posts - and I am pleased to say we have been granted £1000 towards the costs.  The posts are being fabricated by local company MacPherson Welding & Engineering Services and the aim is to have them erected in the Black Parks for our next home game on the 9th January against RAF Kinloss..........so its back to where we started from many years ago.

We are waiting for a copy of the report from Sportsmasters who recently visited the pitch to carry out an assessment on its condition and what work is required - this was organised by Brian Bell of the SRU.

Points Deducted
17 December 2009

UNFULFILLED FIXTURE 05 DECEMBER 2009 RAF KINLOSS V LOCHABER

As a consequence of the non-fulfilment of the above fixture and in accordance with Championship Regulation 5.1, we have been informed by the Caledonia Regional Competitions Committee that our club has been penalised 4 Championship points.

The points will be reinstated if and when we play the outstanding fixture.

This is not good news and we do not want to be put in this situation again.  Once again, we ask that all players give their Captain and Coach their full support in turning regularly for training and make themselves available for all games, home or away.  At present the committment is at an all time low - and its up to the players to turn this around
